During this fun Learn to Row team building activity your group will learn to row using the on-land rowing machines. You will also have the opportunity to carry and learn about rowing shells in the boat bays. This is the perfect event if your group has limited time and will leave your participants wanting to learn more about rowing.

During this Learn to Row team building activity your group will learn how to row using the rowing machines before taking boats out on the water. Groups will row in 8-person boats with 2 experienced rowers and an experienced coxswain. This is a great way to get your team working together as they create alignment amongst each other and learn to move the boat together.

For this Learn to Row option we partner with the Riverbend Group to develop a single or multi-day leadership program for your team. This includes learning to row on the rowing machine, getting out on the water, facilitated team building, leadership development, and other rowing-related outings (a tour of the UW shellhouse, a cruise on Lake Washington, etc.)
