Green Lake Small Craft Center is located at the southwest "corner" of Green Lake in North Seattle. While rowing, canoeing, kayaking, and sailing classes are taught only during daylight hours, the popular running/ skating/ bicycling/ walking path around the lake is enjoyed 24 hours a day by Seattle residents.

Serving the boating community for 30 years, the Mount Baker Rowing and Sailing Center is a Seattle Parks and Recreation Facility with classes and programs in rowing, sailing and windsurfing for all ages, abilities and skill levels. 

Olympia Area Rowing (OAR) promotes competitive and recreational rowing for adults and youth in the local community, fostering sportsmanship, teamwork, athleticism and camaraderie.

Pocock Rowing Center is a community boathouse of the George Pocock Rowing Foundation. Pocock Rowing Center is located in the Eastlake Neighborhood of Seattle, and serves youth from various schools across the city. 

Renton Rowing Center is a community boathouse of the George Pocock Rowing Foundation. Renton Rowing Center is located in Renton, WA. RRC is the only rowing facility in the city of Renton and serves youth and adults across the city. 

Founded in 1990, Vashon Island Rowing Club is a private, non-profit organization dedicated to providing the greater Vashon Island community the opportunity to experience the incredible feeling of the amazing sport of rowing.



USRowing has been supporting the George Pocock Rowing Foundation by providing an annual grant to bring Erg Ed to new cities across the US. 

Up2Us Sports inspires youth to achieve their potential by providing them coaches who are trained in positive youth development. The Pocock Foundation is a proud parnter of Up2Us Sports through the AmeriCorps Coach Program.

Erg Ed started in Seattle Public Schools, the largest K-12 school system in Washington state. Seattle Public Schools has a deep commitment to every student's journey—to ensure that each student will graduate ready for college, career and life.

Public Schools

In addition to Seattle Public Schools, the Pocock Foundation is partnered with 11 public school districts through the Erg Ed program and the USRowing Grant.

Where do Erg Ed ergs go when school is out of session? Every summer, Erg Ed equipment is used by community groups and YMCAs for a new, fun fitness option. Since 2015, six different YMCAs have used our indoor rowing machines through Erg Fit.

We're excited to be an affiliate partner of UW's Center for Leadership in Athletics. The Center for Leadership in Athletics develops effective leaders and leadership practices that maximize the positive impact of athletics within educational settings.



Windermere is an active participant of the Seattle rowing community. Windermere sponsors and partners with the GPRF on many local events such as Media Cup, Corporate Cup Regatta, and more.
