GPRF PARTNER NETWORK
GPRF PARTNER BOATHOUSE COHORT
GPRF has brought together boathouses from across the country in effort to help our sport grow and continue to reach athletes from non-traditional rowing backgrounds. Coming together to expand knowledge, resources, support and brain power can lead to true change within our sport, so we can see more inclusive, intentional and innovative opportunities for all youth within our communities.
WHY?
The purpose of creating partnerships between the George Pocock Rowing Foundation (GPRF) and boathouses and teams located around the US is to recognize and share resources while contributing to higher and better culturally competent levels of outreach, engagement and efficacy around the country. The US is home to hundreds of organizations and boathouses working towards the same goals, and increased collaboration with fellow groups doing similar work is vital to the GPRF’s mission. There is a need for us to define partnerships between the GPRF and these organizations to support one another in order to continue to create and strengthen this work and these partnerships.
