Members of the Renton Rowing Center enjoy 24-hour access to our land training facility, use of a fleet of Club 1xs, 2xs, and 2-s, and locker rooms 7 days a week.  Members can also register for RRC instructional rowing classes and Competitive Teams.

Types of Membership

Adult Membership

Full membership allows adults to use our land training facility, register for RRC rowing programs, and use RRC Club boats independently. Full membership is billed annually or quarterly (Jan 1-Mar 31) (Apr 1-June 30) (July 1-Sept 30) (Oct 1-Dec 31). Check Sign-Up page for costs and schedule details.

Discounts to Membership:

  • Annual (Sign up before Jan. 10)
  • Quarterly Age-Discount (18-25 years old)
  • Family (2 adults living at the same address and 2 children living at the same address. Individuals under age 18 must have adult supervision when using the fitness center or RRC Club equipment)
  • Back Home from College Rower: 3 Month Summer Membership
  • RRC Junior Team Alumni (valid for 4 years after graduation from the RRC Junior Team)
  • Prorates are offered for New Members Only when entering mid-year/quarter for memberships and programs.

Fitness Membership

Fitness membership allows adults to use our land training facility and register for land-based training classes and programs.

Junior Team Membership

Youth and Junior Team Membership (ages 12-18) is seasonal and based on paid registration in the current competitive season (fall, winter, and spring).  Youth and Junior Team members are allowed to use the RRC facility and equipment only during scheduled, coached practices or during supervised Junior Open Gym hours in the summer.

RRC Adult Membership is billed annually (January 1) or quarterly (January 1, April 1, July 1 and October 1). Membership is prorated for individuals who are new to the Renton Rowing Center. Membership is not pro-rated for individuals who have previously been a member but have allowed their membership to lapse.

The Renton Rowing Center is a SafeSport boathouse. SafeSport aims to eliminate any form of sexual misconduct, emotional misconduct, physical misconduct, bullying, harassment and hazing in our sport. Working with the United States Olympic Committee, the USRowing SafeSport program was developed based on education and training for coaches, as well as reporting and enforcement policies that include criminal background checks of all Renton Rowing Center staff.
